Just pushed a new update to the Function Playground app! I added a super simple moving average filter for functions, plus start and end values for blend operations. Small changes, but hopefully useful ones 😄

A few more tweaks: the profile preview now adapts to quality settings, decorations are optional, and I cleaned up several parts of the UI to make things easier to use.

I’ve relaxed some of the previous limits—originally set to keep things simple. Now you can go as low as 10mm in height! That means it’s much easier to design matching saucers or smaller containers

I also improved how the mesh and wall profiles are optimized. The new default “Z Resolution” is now set to “Optimized”, with a new setting to control the optimization angle. Smoother prints, smarter defaults.
