Picture 2: If I share the same post on Threads, it gets zero interactions — zero! — because it contains a link to the competing social medium YouTube, and on Threads, Mark Zuckerberg has decided that the algorithm should not promote such content.
Threads is where the rich decide what we can talk about.

After my Dowles Graveyard video, I decided to retest the free tier of the Gemini AI.
I don't use AI in my content, and don't really trust AI after too many hallucinations. But I'm a fair man, and willing to recheck old conclusions.
It told me about Joyce Dovey and a "ticking grave", I'd not found that in any source for her story.
I pushed for a source, and it admitted there isn't one, but that this does happen due to Deathwatch Beetle. My word, how very reassuring.
In this video, I visit a spooky abandoned graveyard just outside Bewdley in England.
Once a place of Christian worship, Dowles Graveyard is now reputedly a site of devil worship and holds two women with disturbing stories. One of demonic possession, the other known as "The Bewdley Witch".

I'm looking around for a home for my YouTube videos in the Fediverse.
I have a definite sense that it's a good idea to have an alternative. MakerTube is looking good, though the search continues for now.
I got out recently on Sedgley Beacon.
This was used as a Beacon Hill, and a fire would be lit at times of emergency or war. The tower was built in 1846 for astronomy by Lord Wrottesley, and is Grade 2 listed.
The inside stairs are gone though, so it can't be climbed.

I'm looking into the Pelican site generator, I may end up replacing Wordpress with this. It's interesting and appeals to my Python loving side.
It also time to remove the overt anti-AI branding from things. I have no more love or respect for AI in creative endeavours than I did, but I feel no need to be so overbearing about it.
