@deafferret @nfd Also, for the record, it was less insistence and more an animated and well-constructed argument for why it would meet our needs better than our original setup.

Which I just now realized looks exactly the same as insistence. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@deafferret @nfd Coffee goes stale and the aromatic qualities degrade over time. Stale grounds build up and can impart off-flavors to any coffee you make from beans ground in your dusty dirty grinder.

Also, the only time something needs seasoning is when the surface that touches the food/drink doesn't already have a nonporous coat. For example, Traditional Chinese teapots are unglazed and have to season to reduce wear and tear, whereas "seasoned" coffee mugs are just dirty.

@caroline @Da_Gut @danielnazer Oh ffs. The stupidest part, people who believe in the metaphysical power of crystals do actually believe that apatite helps control hunger...when WORN.

This is going under the radar, but looks like the CDC guidelines for masking are switching back to COVID-19 Community *TRANSMISSION* levels instead of "Community levels."

That means the CDC now recommends universal masking for **71%** of counties in the US, instead of only 9%.
