"Did Moore maliciously hack into the system, or did he just walk blithely through an open door?" I've got a $20 that says it is the later since SCOTUS uses a system that was developed in-house and first deployed in 2017.

“But before I could worry about it too much, a senior military officer from a major (non-American) allied nation drove a stake right through the heart of the matter.
America has blown 80 years of accumulated goodwill and trust among its allies, our American moderator was told. A rock-steady assumption of allied defence and security planning for literally generations has been that America would act in its own interests, sure, but that those interests would be rational, and would still generally value the institutions that America itself worked so hard to build after the Second World War. America’s recent actions have destroyed the ability of any ally to continue to have faith in America to act even within its own strategic self-interest, let alone that of any ally.
The officer then said that even a swift return of America to its former role won’t matter.
Because “we will never fucking trust you again.”

I did a special video release for Christmas this year in collaboration with Gun Bunny. ☺️🐇🎄🔫
(And we started it with a scene from a Die Hard movie, how timely and topical is that?) 😂
After reading their blog post and really agonizing over this for the last day, I'm changing my stance. The ways in which the internal use of generative models are discussed here concern me more than what I've seen in external pull requests. And indeed, the wholehearted embrace of the technology is quite alarming. It's one thing to figure out how to mitigate the harm from others potentially using generative code. It's quite another to accept the intrinsic harms of the technology yourself. That's the path chosen here, and I can't in good conscience go along with it. I too will be moving on from KeePassXC.
If I gave the impression that I was defending their use of generative code yesterday, I sincerely apologize. I was focused on the aspect of limiting outside harm, but that does not excuse its internal adoption.
