[#Vuln] For those tracking the upcoming release of a new version of #OpenSSL, version 3.0.7, which contains a patch for an undisclosed critical rated vulnerability in current versions of the technology. The Open SSL Project will be releasing the update on Tuesday, November 1st. Preparations should be made to adopt this update as soon as possible due to its critical nature and potential risk. British computer scientist and mathematician Kathleen Booth has passed away. Kathleen is credited with inventing the concept of assembly language and implementing the subsequent assembler and autocode for computers at the University of London. Machines: The Automatic Relay Calculator (ARC), Simple Electronic Computer (SEC) and the All Purpose Electronic (X) Computer (APE(X)C)

How to migrate from one Mastodon server to another without losing followers:

1. Sign up on new server
2. On NEW server: Go to Account -> Moving FROM another account
3. Enter old account's handle
4. On OLD server: Go to Account -> Moving TO another account
5. Enter new account's handle and submit

The disadvantage of a central authority on a service like Twitter is censorship, bias. That means that I will now started leaving Twitter, after 15 years.
Backing-up the history first and then I will leave for good.
