A world where individuals have the power to leave corrupt governments, hostile cultures and abusers, and thrive in a self-chosen community.

This leaves individuals, who may be stateless, refugees, not registered at birth, victims of child abuse or victims of cult abuse, on the edge of society with no way to earn access to what most people take for granted.
In comparison, the self-declaration of identity does not require third party permission. Individuals can define their own name, culture and personal ties, and are the authority over their own lives.

Millions of people worldwide have no access to government ID, which makes it difficult to access necessities like work, housing and healthcare. Despite issuing laissez-passer passports in the past, neither the UN nor the Red Cross offer substitute IDs today, and nation-states mostly refuse to issue stateless passports or certificates of identity.
