Read this on the plane home from Anchorage. I loved the other books in this series too but my best love goes to an Anne Elliot & Captain Wentworth retelling, and this book had me swimming in warm feelings. If you can imaging love as an array of colors, this story stays in the color family Jane Austen imagined, but it increases the intensity and allows the reader to bask in it longer. Did a quick trip to Anchorage to visit my brother earlier this month and now I finally understand why people love winter (true winter, not the cold, wet, garbage I‘m used to!)

Joined the crowds on a bridge yesterday with my sign that is unfortunately evergreen (and unreadable from the road, but I didn’t bring it for the drivers). My presence was small impact, just another person on a bridge, but my heart needed to be surrounded by those people. #NoIce #ICEOutForGood

Recently finished these two books recommended by a friend & enjoyed them both despite not really being a fantasy lover. How many Austen adaptations have I read? (So Many!) Maybe it was the full moon or the aurora, but this was the first P&P that took me out of my head, so much that when the big twists & drama came it took me by surprise! I was basking in the bliss of Lizzy & Darcy, I got comfortable, then something crazy happened and I was shocked for a moment (I really shouldn’t have been 😆).
