I’m looking for an article (blog post?), shared here (I think) a while ago (months, probably) about generative AI, revolving around the phrase “I want to see you try”. The author was stating that they appreciate people making a messy effort to e.g. write something themselves a lot more than reading perfectly bland AI-generated copy. This sentence has been on my mind a lot recently, but I can’t find the source article anymore. Anyone remembers and has it bookmarked? Thanks! 🙏

@observer That's good thinking - thanks for sharing this and explaining TCO so clearly. We certainly have ideas on how to reduce the technical, moderation, and legal cost. FASPs are probably part of this. Our future Belgian foundation could help on legal and compliance topics.

I believe the grandma-one-click-Gmail analogy is not perfect, though, because the exemplary grandma doesn't start their own email server on Gmail.
