Ecco come Trump immagina le vittime della Terza Guerra Mondiale
Capitalism and communism felt like they were always going to be around, but it turns out they were just two ways of ordering an industrial society. If you were looking for more fundamental human political poles, you'd take anarchy and fascism, for my money.

* MAGA or nazi imagery
I think this is a reasonable boundary.
"At an Amazon fulfillment center in Spain, we used a flurry of brief walkouts late last year to force the company to improve wages and time off.
We struck for three days in November and in December in a series of “flexible strikes,” timed to hit production with intermittent walkouts during the holiday “peak” season. On December 22, the union committee announced a settlement, negotiated through government mediators.
The facility, RMU1 in the city of Murcia, employed 2,000 workers at the time, and our union the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) was one of four unions that represented them. [European countries don’t have the same “exclusive representation” system as the U.S., so multiple unions can have a presence at the same worksite. –Editors]
About 75 percent of the workforce, made up of workers from Spain and immigrants from Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia, and Morocco, participated in the strike, reaching beyond the ranks of the CGT to include other union members.
Our experience shows what’s possible, even at a multinational corporation designed to neutralize organizing. Building from below, workers can organize a well-planned strike—over the objections of more conservative unions—draw on their knowledge of the production process, hit the company where it hurts the most, and wrest real gains.
Here’s how we got Amazon to negotiate with us when it didn’t want to."

Gen AI is an expensive way to create text and images. Right now, much of that cost is being subsidized and hidden, but it will eventually need to be paid. Because charging the actual cost will likely negate most of the value proposition of genAI, the companies that run the big models are focused on altering the social and economic context so that there are big external costs to opting out. E.g. getting companies to fire staff makes it difficult to pivot back away from AI because hiring and training replacement staff can be difficult and costly. Hence, the huge rush and hysterical sense of urgency around adoption: the demand for profitability is an approaching tidal wave, and they need to lock entire industries in before that wave hits.
That's why resistance IN THE PRESENT counts for a great deal. Right now, we have the approaching wave in our favor, and they're counting on cultivating enough dependence before it hits that we'll have no choice to accept the actual costs. The closer they get to locking society into dependence on hyperscale AI systems, the more difficult it becomes to opt out of even the plainly dystopian uses of the technology. And the longer we "wait and see," the less say we may ultimately have in how this technology shapes our society.
So I'm up late, watching the news on YouTube when I stumble across this short (14m) Majority Report Segment, about an anonymized ICE employee, testifying to a local news station about the horrifying and inhumane conditions inside a concentration camp located in the Baltimore George H. Fallon federal building. This "detention center" recently made national news when a whistleblower leaked video showing dozens of migrants crammed inside a single cell like sardines in conditions that well, resembled a concentration camp more than even a jail.
Look, I'm not going to lie to you; some of the testimony provided is hard to hear, but this is another story that I think probably has more impact when you hear a real, actual person who was in position to know, talk about the dehumanizing and dangerous conditions inside ICE concentration camps - which as we're learning, appear to be both intentional and systemic in nature, and not the result of one or two bad facilities.
As an aside, shoutout to the WUSA 9 news guys here for going super old school on this high-quality journalism. They reported that the ex-ICE employee couldn't be identified because they'd signed an NDA (uh, should we be making people who work for the migrant carceral complex sign NDAs? Is there any innocent reason for that practice?) but confirmed that they did work at the Baltimore facility in question through employment records, so this is about as credible as an anonymous whistleblower interview can possibly be. If only every news organization still cared this much about doing the job right.
ICE Worker Leaks Concentration Camp Ghoulish Conditions

As I mentioned above, the leaker's account of the conditions inside the Baltimore concentration camp are difficult to hear, especially considering the fact that he's clearly still an extremely reactionary immigration hardliner himself. This isn't exactly a person sympathetic to the migrants he was paid to help confine. In very broad strokes the former ICE employee describes habitual and horrific overcrowding, people forced to lay in feces and urine, women forced to wear diapers due to lack of sanitary supplies, as well as physical and psychological abuse of detainees. Furthermore, much of this testimony was supported by headcount sheets, and screenshots from group chats with co-workers. This nightmare is real.
I think perhaps the most important part of the leakers testimony however, is their articulation of the way running the concentration camps saw the ICE employees themselves to begin to see the confined migrants as less than human, even literal animals. As any historian worth her salt will tell you, this dehumanization is both an ever-present byproduct of locking people up en masse in concentration camps for the crime of their birth, and a necessary precondition for pogroms, genocides, and other mass extermination programs under reactionary fascist governments.
After the segment featuring the ICE concentration camp whistleblower, the video then opens into a broader discussion between Sam Seder and Emma Vigeland about the growing evidence that all of this torture and mistreatment is intentional, to force kidnapped migrants to give up their legal attempts to stay in the country "voluntarily." And finally our hosts close by noting that the secrecy behind all of this dehumanization, torture, and abuse is rooted in the way DHS and ICE function as part of the specially empowered national security state that grew out of US political class reaction to 9/11 and the War on Terror.
The chickens of racialized American imperial adventurism have indeed, come home to roost.

Alright, I think we've established that the Trump-controlled Department of Justice under Attorney General Pam Bondi, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, and FBI Director Kash Patel, is actively breaking the law to protect US President Donald Trump. Frankly, I think you can go a lot further than that, but for now I just want to focus on the Swine Emperor, because if the Justice Department is willing to break the law to protect Trump, the question becomes - from what, are minions like Bondi and Blanche actually protecting the president?
Well, thanks to the roughly one million (that is not a typo) times the Department of Justice has redacted Donald Trump's name from the files, we cannot as of yet catalogue the full extent of the evidence against Downmarket Mussolini. But even in the 3.5M *redacted* files the Justice Department released this month (while still holding back somewhere around 3M files illegally) we can find some highly-incriminating, if not utterly damning evidence that the President of the United States is a pedophile rapist who did a lot more than party with Jeff Epstein.

Witness told FBI Trump threatened to ‘disappear’ girl and have her ‘whole family killed’
"Under penalty of perjury, a witness told the FBI back in 2016 that they had “personally witnessed” President Donald Trump threaten to “disappear” a girl and have her entire family killed, according to a document released by the Justice Department on Friday.
Released as part of the DOJ’s publication of around 3.5 million files on Jeffrey Epstein, the FBI tip was submitted by an individual using the pseudonym “Tiffany Doe,” and includes details of an alleged threat Trump made to a plaintiff in a lawsuit.
“I personally witnessed Defendant Trump telling Plaintiff that she shouldn’t ever say anything if she didn’t want to disappear like the 12-year-old female [redacted], and that he was capable of having her whole family killed,” the FBI tip reads, signed under penalty of perjury on June 18, 2016."
Okay, pay close attention now because there's some fuckery afoot. First, Raw Story is being coy here because based on the dates provided, we know the sworn account in this document comes out of the Katie Johnson lawsuit against Trump. Johnson, as you might remember, was the woman suing Trump back in 2016, who provided graphic testimony accusing both Donald Trump, and Jeff Epstein of sexually assaulting her as part of a pedophile human trafficking ring when she was 13 years old. This then means that far from being just a tipster, Tiffany Doe is the same anonymous witness who corroborated the testimony Johnson herself provided in her sworn affidavit (and as you'll see later on in this thread, a recorded witness interview). As you may recall, Johnson dropped her suit before the 2016 election after her lawyer said she'd received threats and was too scared to proceed; hardly an outrageous position given we have two people saying in sworn testimony that Trump threatened to murder her and her whole family if she ever talked - and he was now on the verge of becoming President.
Which then brings us to the fact that in addition to underselling the Katie Johnson lawsuit this document comes out of, Raw Story also buried the lede.
“I was personally threatened by Mr. Epstein that I would be killed and my family killed as well if I ever disclosed any of the physical and sexual abuse of minor females that I had personally witnessed by Mr. Epstein or any of his guests,” the FBI tip reads.
“I am coming forward to swear to the truthfulness of the physical and sexual abuse that I personally witnessed of minor females at the hands of Mr. Trump and Mr. Epstein, including the Plaintiff, during the time of my employment from the years of 1990-2000 for Mr. Epstein.”
So, you caught that right? Tiffany Doe just told the FBI under penalty of perjury, that she personally witnessed both Trump and Epstein sexually abuse underage girls while working for Epstein. In addition to the death threats. Please keep in mind this is the very same release of Department of Justice files, Trump himself declared "completely exonerated" him.
Finally, you may notice this specific file has been removed from the DoJ records available to the public, but I assure you it was there and it's just one of the many incriminating documents Trump's crooked Injustice Department removed after the media noticed them. As for why they thought it would be fine to release in the first place, I can't say, but I suspect Trump and his minions believe they already beat Katie Johnson's accusations. And they're largely right; because American corporate media ignored the sworn testimony of two women prepared to go to jail if they're lying, and assumed a future GOP Presidential Nominee raping a 13 year old girl wasn't a believable story. I wonder if they still feel that way now, millions of Epstein files later?
