With the PS3 (well, 7th generation games as a whole), a lot of the games that I like and/or are relevant to my interests already got ported to Steam, PS4, or the Switch.
But there are a small percentage of games stuck in 7th generation limbo (some of which I legitimately own) that I would love to play again/for the first time, and/or record but can't easily do so without the methods I recently discovered.
Wow I am so glad I learrned about Myrient about 24 hours before it's slated to shut down.
It has immensely helped me cook up some potential ideas for Gauntlet episodes and Player's Guide streams to suppliment the PS3 support my PC now has 😈

If I didn't have access to older games from the gen X/millenial era, or cozy indie games, gaming as a hobbie would royally suck right about now.
Steam Deck, Switch (1 and 2), and a PC that can support just about any game from any era. I'm set for hobby gaming life. Screw the modern game industry and all their countless attempts to make gaming less fun.

Undertale concert tickets and Steam spring sale purchases (7 different games, all going towards my channel in the future). Not a bad 48 hours for gamer me :3
Out of those 7 games, half of them were less than $5. And there was one that happened to work out as an early birthday present to Bunny. But still, all games for my channel. So I'm okay with adding to my already huge library.
Next year will mark Toonami's 30 year anniversary AND 25 years since I started video editing, an interest that begain through AMVs.
I know what Gauntlet needs next year....it needs a game based off an anime that was on Toonami. Problem is, most of the good ones are fighters and I already have two significant fighters planned for next year.
