Martin McKeay

I have opinions, I write, blog, research, podcast, and generally spend too much time thinking.

I find it amusing to live in a place (NM) where the desiccant I used to use to protect my filament is more humid than the air around it.

I've moved into my mom's basement near Santa Fe, NM.

I love living in a state where the air is drier than I could ever get my filament driers to.

As a DM, once I hear a player say, "What could possibly go wrong?", I feel it is my moral obligation to show them the absolutely worst thing that could happen.

The gleeful smile on my face is the only warning they get.

Well, Wife0 is no more. She's still alive, she just isn't Wife0. It took my destruction to make it happen, just as predicted.

The last 8 months have been interesting.

Whoever put the billboard for 'human composting' two blocks from the hospital is a genius.

An evil genius, but the statement still stands.

I just saw an advertisement for a 12v mini-dishwasher to take with you car camping.

If you need a device to wash dishes for you at all times, maybe camping isn't for you.

It's not quite 10am and I've gotten 9,000 steps in already without leaving the house. Packing is a shitty workout.

It's almost over.

It's almost over.

It's almost over.

I really look forward to never having to deal with my step-siblings again.

I really am carrying ~12 swords into a storage locker shortly. My father and grandfather were Masons and my father collected sabers when he could afford to.

I have no intent on becoming a Mason, but I know these are valuable on multiple levels. When I come back to clear out the locker next month, I'll contact the local chapter to discuss next steps.

If you see a man carrying a dozen swords into a storage unit today, it wasn't me and you can't prove anything.
