@grishka I left most social media in favour of Mastodon (and Bluesky) last year and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made (and of course I use the time I save to cope with something else haha).

@grishka Algorithmic feeds are problematic for many reasons, but for me, it's the fact that it is so untransparent. When I close Bluesky, I can open it two seconds later and there will be hundreds of other posts, with Mastodon I know I don't have to check so often because it is all just my feed.

@trakt The weird thing I am spotting is #trakt lying to its customers and doubling its price while putting previously free stuff behind the VIP paywall. ☺️
