one of my least favorite conversation starters/greetings is the question "how's it going?" (or any other variations of "how are you?")
the expected answer is "good" or "alright", so that's what i say, even when it's a lie.
usually it's going like shit. but no one wants to hear that. it would be a bummer way to start every conversation.
if we must begin with a pointless question, can we at least be creative with it?

i would not use sandpack (or anything from codesandbox) in 2025. sandpack looked very promising and i was an early adopter, but today it's pretty dead.
what i've instead started doing is:
1. render the demos directly on the page (with shadow-dom for style isolation).
2. show the source code on the page (in a disclosure widget).
3. include links to "edit in codepen/stackblitz/github".
it does not allow in-page editing but is the least amount of work.
I know, I know. "Blocking replies is impossible". "You can't stop people from disagreeing with you on the internet".
I've heard it all, and don't really care.
Here's my proposal: much like how I can set the post visibility here, I should be able to tell my server to drop any replies to that post.
Not "don't send notifications about replies". Drop them. Don't host them.
And compliant servers would honor that request in the UI.
@alice @wyatt do you know if gpay/wallet works on it? that's like 30% of the reason i use my phone (for contactless payments)

this is the weirdest thing i've seen on windows. they let you open a browser using a keyboard shortcut (or a controller) but you can't use it without a mouse.
