So one thing about the US is that when anybody proposed socializing retirement and health care we get ghouls coming out of the woodwork to ask in bad faith how we'd pay for something so extravagant (that everybody else already has).
In the US, if you have benefits you get a sort of shared-cost system where some money goes to socialized benefits and some to private. Going full social just means you and your employer pay into the social pool instead of the private pool and then EVERYBODY gets it.

@davidrevoy I like the four images on mobile, but of course that locks you in to four unconnected images where you can't play around with the medium as much.
@cm @sanzky @fj The reason it's "large" is not just the wheel base and track. It's the height and the way it fills out the envelope.
Basically even if you can find sedans and estates with similar wheelbases, those are cars you can see through and around in traffic. These SUVs (and crossovers) are opaque boxes that create danger wherever they go. And with the driver's seat that far from the nose they have just AWFUL blind spots to boot.
@Rin3d @fj As others have pointed out, the F-350 crew cab is very often NOT a work truck. It's frequently a passenger vehicle in the US and should be compared to that.

And for the record, the F-350 is 51% heavier.

@blogdiva I don't need to explain the problems with the RCC but boy I sure do wish American Catholics could stop being all the worst parts of the RCC combined with all the worst parts of the American Evangelical movement.
Not a single American Catholic will turn away from Trump as a result of this very normal and moral statement.
