@openclimatedata @llimllib Oh man I bumped exactly into this issue last week and ended up pushing the pmtiles to its own custom branch from which I can safely fetch unzipped ranges for my map https://github.com/mauforonda/atlasurbano/blob/73388b99d6dc5841be68a9e864af8c34ec764080/.github/workflows/publicar.yml#L49 ... hahaha this trick would have come handy :)

I tried to make this so sources, topics and prompts would be easy to adapt to new interests. You can check and fork the whole thing in https://www.val.town/x/joseforonda/digest/code/update . Btw, val town is amazing.

I select a few rss feeds, which it pipes every few hours through an LLM to classify into manually defined topics, those are finally displayed as streams of headlines. You can pick any news item and it fetches it for you in place. For every topic there's also a small frequency plot to know when interest grows or declines.

I hesitate to share much in mastodon because so much of what I build is probably relevant only to people in Bolivia, but this is actually something that would work well beyond. A few months ago I made a val.town project to help me read news.

@rjhale1971 @mappingsupport woa some fun projects there, I sort of do a similar thing with geoserver instances I collect from government addresses in Bolivia ( https://mauforonda.github.io/geodatos/ | https://github.com/mauforonda/geodatos/ ) but can't imagine keeping a list that large. nice interview as always.
