🧙‍♂️These three things, monks, are conducted in secret, not openly. What three? Affairs with women, the mantras of the brahmins, and wrong view.

Why Does No One Understand the Real Reason Trump Won?

It wasn’t the economy. It wasn’t inflation, or anything else. It was how people perceive those things, which points to one overpowering answer.

Vaccines are one of the most important inventions humans have ever made. Period.

Remember the $3 billion "private equity fund" Kushner got from Saudis et al? (You may not because Big Journalism mostly forgot about what may be the biggest bribe in history.)

@juddlegum hasn't forgotten, and he sees it for what it is:

If you believed that Donald Trump is a threat to our democracy before the election, there is no reason to not believe it now, and if you believe it now, you better do what you can to protect our democracy, and ensuring a smooth slide into fascism ain't fuckin' it.
Any Democratic politician who isn't doing all they can right now to limit the damage of a Trump second term and who doesn't do all they can in the coming years deserves to be tossed out of office (then tarred and feathered as a turncoat).

I don't give a fuck how smooth the transition of power is. Trump is now demanding Senate Republicans call a recess so he can shoehorn in all his executive appointments without even a Senate rubber stamp.

Less jerking off Trump and more battening down the hatches!

I'm not expecting Democratic politicians to engage in illegal behavior to prevent Trump from taking office, but I do expect them to do *everything* within their legal power to limit the power he'll have when he does, and this 'welcome back old friend' bullshit does not meet the standard.

One of the planks of Kamala Harris's campaign was that Donald Trump is a fascist.

Does anybody remember that? I remember it. I believe it.

Do Democratic Party leaders believe it? Because they're sure as hell not acting like they believe it.
