@TheChrisGlass Oh, good to know, thanks! I've got a trip coming up. I usually buy the cards in-store but I heard that using the site is much more convenient.
@bental I don't expect I'll be using them on an ongoing basis. I'm just reviewing them manually for now as I wait for dust to settle on my new configuration.
For the more geeky people here: I've been fixing up my personal domain (web and email) because I had an expensive host that I wasn't using much. I had re-configured my MX settings and getting SPF and DKIM set up so that my outgoing email wouldn't be marked as spam by other servers, hopefully. I set up DMARC reports. This morning I was thinking "I should have received a DMARC report from outlook.com by now." A second later: *ding* new email. DMARC report from outlook.com! Things are working!
@troy ok. I can handle 5 weeks, but 7 is a little too close for comfort.
I have a US passport renewal coming up and I need to squeeze it in between two international trips. In my experience, their turnaround times are overestimated. For example, their stated 5 - 7 weeks for expedited service actually means 2 - 3 weeks. Does anyone have recent experience to confirm? Thanks all! #Travel #Passport
I used to have this super convoluted way of hosting content on my personal domain and the DNS settings were a bit of a mess. I finally cleaned it all up this weekend. Now it's a single landing page hosted by Adobe Portfolio and everything else handled by a Google Workspace! I feel so accomplished. https://mattrichardson.com/
Matt Richardson - digital creator

I’m a techie, maker of things, digital creator, author, and world traveler. When I’m not doing community engagement for Raspberry Pi Ltd, you might find me on a plane, at a Disney Park, out for a run, swimming laps in the pool, making videos, or tinkering with technology. I’ve been sharing slices of my life online in various forms since the late 1900’s but you’ll currently find that I’m most active on TikTok and Instagram.

This is what my hotel room voiceover booth looks like:
@richaesthetic United is doing something right for once! πŸ˜‚ Actually they’ve been pretty damn good over the past few years.

@matt Yeah UA isn’t perfect, but I gotta say, I’ve never experienced a better airline-made app.

It used to handle flight changes natively in app, but it’s back to a browser window for some reason. Once they fix that, I can’t think of any fault with it.

Is United the first #airline to use the #ios dynamic island and live activities in their app? I absolutely love this. The dynamic island is showing time left in flight. The live activity shows your gate number until you board and then shows your seat number.
