@atpfm great background about what it takes to bring transcripts to @overcastfm. Question @marcoarment, how do you incorporate those podcasts that include their own transcripts?
@atpfm even well known indie musicians have gripes (on Bluesky) about the new iOS
@hotdogsladies it’s at 2:09:50 and the context was discussing Pluribus and its similarities to Contact and Arrival, which then led you to Close Encounters, and how it’s funnier than most people remember….

@RecDiffs @hotdogsladies i would love to hear the “personal thing” you were going to say about Close Encounters of the Third Kind 😁

Also, the scene in Plur1bus with the whole group gathered around the computer talking over each other reminded me of the air traffic controller scene in Close Encounters…both great

@freediverx @atpfm it’s out now
@atpfm @marcoarment no disrespect to the wait staff but I ❤️ the handhelds b/c that way they’re no longer walking off with my credit card. They’ve been the norm in Canada and Europe (at least where I’ve been) for at least 10 years. So glad they’re catching on in the US now.

@RecDiffs @siracusa whenever I hear about lead I think of this 😬

@atpfm another reason for having a case for an AirPods case…as a reason to differentiate them when everyone else in the family also has AirPods…and being in a family where we leave them laying around the house 😁
@rick_baumhauer @pmcg @atpfm @caseyliss @siracusa I don’t understand why an iPhone is unable to recognize a counterfeit AirPods Pro. I get there’s an issue with counterfeits reusing serial numbers but you would think that there could be some hardware verification going on between the H2 chip in the AirPods and an iPhone. As far as I know the counterfeit AirPods don’t have the H2 chip…or even they do there’s got to be another way for an iPhone to spot a counterfeit.
