I’ve never been too into the genre of romance (books, movies, etc) but there was a real-world event I heard about that made me think “this could be the basis for a story.” I won’t give the details out of respect for the very real humans involved, but I heard of an incident where a couple 10+ years divorced passed away on the exact same day as one another. It made me think of the actual couple, and the different paths their lives divided into, but their paths crossed again in a strange way when they ended up dying on the exact same day.
The story wouldn’t be about this specific incident, but there is something there, to me at least, about about two people falling in love and falling out of love, only to pass away on the same day over a decade later. I come up with a lot of story ideas and a lot of them take literal years to form because that’s just how my brain works. I’ll have to ponder this one, because as I mentioned I’ve never been into romance as a genre but there’s something to this that has me going HMMM.

The chibi Mellifera I drew for my Dungeons & Dragons mini! The good news is, nothing crazy is going on with my elbow, it’s just RSI/tendonitis. The orthopedist reminded me not to lax on the care for my tendonitis which admittedly is something that is easy to do after living nearly two decades with it. I’m going to start physical therapy again, but I’m still limited in what I can do so… in the meantime, please enjoy this little figure I made!
If you recall, I had a metal beekeeper miniature I used, but it was with my bag that I lost that contained a lot of my DnD stuff and two of my small artworks. I’m pretty happy with how she came out! My cuts could be cleaner lol, but it’s passable. I used photo paper with thin cardboard in between; next time, I’d definitely use some heavy paper (not cardboard)… the cardboard was just too messy.

My doctor appointment went really well today! I was given an elbow strap similiar to the one I wore in my late teens/early 20s, as opposed to the sleeve. Speaking of which, the dark red dot that appeared after I felt like my pain was worsening again was just skin irritation/a pimple. (I’m sure wearing the sleeve when it’s hot and I’m sweating under it was the cause.)
She asked me if I had ever seen an orthopedist for my RSI and I don’t… think I have. I’ve been to PT… I may have seen a one for another issue, I can’t remember. I’ve had a lot of chronic pain throughout my life, so it’s hard to say. I did some drawing today and that felt so good 🥲
