Also, shall we talk about the boot up screen??? 😍 #ProjectTako3000 #homeassistant #AppleTV #codex

#ProjectTako3000 is now fully mobile! Still way to go to fine-tune battery life, but it does really work as a wireless device!!

#homeassistant #AppleTV #codex

Would this be an actual remote if it couldn’t actually control a TV? Well, now it can control all my #AppleTV around the house!!

#homeassistant #ProjectTako #codex

(Can’t wait for the battery to arrive tomorrow to make it truly mobile!!)

Making further progress on the revived #ProjectTako - this morning was all about creating a simple web admin page to be able to more easily add rooms and devices, rather than having them hardcoded!

Super simple local dashboard that saves immediately and changes are implemented instantly on device!

#homeassistant #codex

Next up on my #codex activity list: hardware work! I took a semi abandoned project of a custom #homeassistant remote controller and brought it back to life in a couple of hours, with so many more features already! Full write up soon, but so much fun!!!

A $499 MacBook Neo with the brains of a couple-year-old iPhone can run Xcode, Photoshop, Blender, Terminal, and pretty much everything else you can think of, yet your $3,200 iPad Pro, with a desktop-class chip, cannot 😑

What are we doing here?

Another fun fact of #vibecoding more and more and creating more outputs, is having to deal with the #AppStore review processes. I’m sure I won’t saying anything new…but oh boy that’s weird! Such different tracks and speeds for approval. One app with major changes to functionalities gets approved almost immediately. Another one with zero functional changes, only a name change, is stuck in waiting for review for like 4 days! Both submitted at the same time!
Also, could my podcast listening be more stereotypical?? 😂
#AI and #vibecoding truly are transformative! They are giving me such a great time in building hyper personal software! Yesterday morning I didn’t have a podcast player, this morning I do! All with less than 20 overall commits and prompts. Certainly being inspired by @stroughtonsmith and his journey with AI-assisted code! I literally had these ideas for years and now I don’t have enough hours in a day to do them all!
