I was always curious how it feels to be able to code, since I was a child. Couple of years later, I finally decided to greatefully use the incredible ressources provided by apple and all the nice folks of the internet and try to learn SwiftUI. So here we go…

You can't outbid it. You can only challenge it. And if you're wrong — you lose two lives.

It changes everything about that moment. Do you believe them? Nobody rolls Mäxle that often.

Except when they do. And you didn't challenge it.

There's a cup.

It slides down to hide the dice when you pass the phone. If the next player doesn't believe you, they tap Challenge — and the cup lifts automatically to reveal the truth.

A small thing. But it's the moment. The tension before that tap.

It's a separate boolean, decoupled from the game phase — so the animation plays independently of what the game is doing.

How Mäxle works:

Roll two dice secretly, peek, then announce a value ≥ the last — or lie. Next player: believe it and roll themselves, or challenge.

Wrong challenge → lose 1 life.
Bluff caught → they lose 1 life.
Roll 2-1 (Mäxle) and it gets doubted? Doubter loses 2 lives.

Simple rules. Total chaos.
