I made a new track this week as a part of a refocusing effort.
This track is depicting a slow morning walk through nature to an awaiting breakfast.
I hope you enjoy it.
A short walk through nature first thing in the morning. Heading to an open clearing with a breakfast waiting.
Today is a good day to tell you about my #Bandcamp page, since today you can not only help me, but also #musicians effected by the LA fires by buying some #music off of Bandcamp.
But you don't have to buy mine... There are plenty of really great artists on Bandcamp and today is a great day to invest in some new music and help out your fellow musicians at the same time.
Thanks for tolerating my shameless self promotion.
I am a solo producer making digital music. I have been a musician for as long as I can remember. Producing these tracks has been a hobby of mine for well over 20 years. I am now trying to take it more seriously and finally feel confident enough to share it with the world.
I have spent the last couple decades making electronic #music.
Years of time in a DAW.
Years of time in sequencers.
Years of time with Synths.
I have lost my skills on more analog instruments like my #drums and #guitars.
So recently I have started to to practice guitar again.
Today I am starting to turn the corner on my calluses. So I can play for longer than 5 mins before my fingers are screaming.
In the age of robots it feels wise to go back to my analog, physical instruments.
My head is spinning this morning. I have been checking out Fedi.tips and wow... I really had no idea what I have gotten myself into here.
This is so much cooler than I realized.
A big thank you to all the people who responded to my call for help!!
Ok, I have been on Mastodon for awhile and love it. But, I think I need to dive a little deeper.
Are there any #mastodon experts willing to help?
I am starting to realize there are a bunch of servers and I am a bit confused about how each server interacts and how account access different servers and so on.
What I would really like to have is a sort of Mastodon manual. Does this exist?
If not, I would appreciate a hand with some of the details so I can get more out of this experience.
I have just discovered that my best cymbal samples in my whole collection are on my Korg Triton.
I have had this thing since it came out in back in 1999. And its was a workhorse in my music back then. I started using Reason and this beauty of an instrument sat unused for years as I moved to mostly in-the-box production.
Now I am exploring hardware again. I decided to pull it out and set it up.
Honestly I am shocked at how good it sounds.
Looking to connect with other active #ElectronicMusic producers, especially working in #HouseMusic, #TechHouse, and #techno. Looking to find a couple people to share feedback, ideas, and resources. I don't function well in large spaces like Reddit and open discords for this kind of thing. Prefer to curate a small group of people.
Boosts appreciated.
One of my favorite things about this site is that there is an end. Every day I come on in the morning and check what has been posted. And every day I hit the top of the feed from yesterday.
No algorithm, no fomo, just the activity from my follows since yesterday.
I love that.
Thank you for being amazing and making this place so great!
I love you all.
