@techlifeweb that one isn’t risk-free, but it’s not in a residential area at least.

We *do* need more battery storage, especially as non-renewable sources become more volatile due to war and such. I just wish there were better options than lithium for large, stationary storage that don’t need to be light weight, highly efficient, or small.

Seems like most of the clearing should happen while the brush is still wet, not when it’s kindling.

@ai6yr I once teleported from a bar I was in in Santa Barbara to a Dennys… then to the back seat of a different friend’s car… then to my dorm room in Pomona. It was crazy.

Teleportation must wreak havoc on your stomach because I remember puking a ton at each place, and I felt like sh*t the next morning.

@faithisleaping the irony is that these people usually *are* great for ROI. They may not be the most obvious, but some folks are facilitators that don’t do much on their own, but they act as force multipliers when working with other people.

You take them out, and your ROI plummets.

I had a volunteer “tomato” in my planter that I let grow until it fruited… and rather than delicious red fruit it gave me toxic black berries.
