The new version of Mastowatch is officially live in the App Store!
The most visible feature is obviously the reimagined navigation for iOS 26 but the most useful feature is probably the most requested…iCloud syncing for favorites! History is still just stored locally but favorites now sync via iCloud across devices. The community directory has also been reworked to allow searching by version number, so you can find servers running certain versions

Really loving the iOS 26 look we’ve come up with.
In addition to the revamped navigation, we added support for server graphics in the detail view and the convenient bar along the bottom above the tabs to always be able to see what your current server is, similar to the now playing bar in Music.
Started reworking the community directory today to make that list searchable, finally!
I actually planned on releasing this build tomorrow but I would rather wait until the new directory is done.
The (free!) Mastowatch Community Directory is a quick and easy way to see if a server is running a version of #Mastodon that is about to reach EOL.
The directory is even powered by the joinmastodon.org list!
You can also use Pro to check servers not in the directory.

Attached: 1 image ICYMI - we need to keep Mastodon secure, and to help everyone to enjoy the latest improvements. We support older releases for fixed periods (main release version “minus two”, for six months after release of latest; so 4.1.x ends 6 months after 4.3 is released). Per the support policy, End of Life for the 4.1.x series is approaching. We’ll also start to remove instances that run older versions from the list of servers on the website, as we retire older versions. Please upgrade! 🙏🏻 #MastoAdmin
