This is just so true: "connecting with nerd-folks". It's what I love about the #PKMSummit so much. It was a great day today with many insights to process. Looking forward to tomorrow!

This is your reminder...

There is no algorithm that brings posts to your timeline. The only posts you will see under your Home tab will be either people that you follow, or the boosts from people that you follow.

BOOSTING IS THE LIFE BLOOD OF MASTODON.

If you read something that is interesting, funny, thought provoking, news worthy, or beautiful, then BOOST IT.

Hitting "Favorite" lets the poster know that you liked it BUT IT DOESN'T LET ANYONE ELSE KNOW.

Keep Mastodon alive. BOOST.

It was a great day again at the #pkmsummit24 with many interesting sessions about all kinds of topics around personal knowledge management. Processing all info in my system now while I'm on my way home, and looking forward to keeping in touch with others in this new online community.
Now I'm in the train back home. Just processing my notes ๐Ÿ˜‰ and getting ready for Day 2 tomorrow #pkmsummit24
In the history session of @chrisaldrich and @ton it was very insightful to see that throughout history people practiced PKM. And these were not just the famous thinkers, but also many ordinary people who were documenting their insights and their daily work practice. #pkmsummit24
Also I attended some great sessions with Marieke van Vliet, @pkmbeth , Johan Dhaeseleer, @harold and @chrisaldrich. All about PKM, a lot of (daily) practice but also about the history of PKM. #pkmsummit24
The biggest surprise of today was that David Allen, founder of the #GTD methodology, was also there in REAL life. I just couldn't believe that I was there during his live session. So I just had to ask for a picture ๐Ÿ˜Ž #pkmsummit24
I had a great day today at the #pkmsummit24 Finally meeting some people irl who are also very much into Personal Knowledge Management.

Hi, this my first post here! #introductions

I'm an instructional designer from the Netherlands, currently focused on blended learning and formative assessment.

Being very chaotic, I also love discussing productivity tools and strategies, Getting Things Done (GTD) and personal knowledge management (PKM), PARA, Zettelkasten and progressive summarization.

I'm also learning to play jazz organ and I enjoy walking and running in nature.

Looking forward to meet others with shared interests! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
