Custom configurations of all MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac mini models are showing shipment delays until the end of October. I’ve reported several times that new versions are coming this fall. MacBook Airs seeing some configuration delays as well — but too soon for a refresh there.

Apple iPhone 15 Pro Goes on Sale September 22, Announced September 12 or 13
On the cusp of the iPhone 15 debut, Apple has finally admitted what has long been clear: The industry is facing a smartphone slowdown. Also: Another M3 Mac goes into testing, Apple seeks to downplay its Goldman Sachs rift, and Vision Pro developer labs get off to a sluggish start.
The Apple Vision Pro has an additional strap that goes *over* your head (because of weight). It wasn’t discussed, those in the hands on demos had it, but no pictures were allowed. The Good Morning America video didn’t show it either. But one brief scene in the keynote had it.
This new Apple job listing is seeking those interested in “Conversational and Generative AI” and seems to imply there will be an on-device way to create AR/VR apps on the headset — eventually.
