It's opening night! I would love to see some friends in the audience.
This is the most technically ambitious production I've been in, and the most demanding for me personally. It's looking and sounding amazing and I can't wait to share it with our first audience.

Recently, snatches of Dylan Thomas's "Do not go gentle into that good night" keep playing in my mind.
Partly because I'm processing the loss of two grandparents in two months.
Partly because I'm processing the descent of humanity into darkness. But we will not go gentle into that night. We rage forever against the dying of that light.
Here is a verse from a beautiful poem my sister wrote for the funeral:
“Your infectious laugh rings
trading jibes with your son in laws
Giving back as much as you’re getting
Quick to the last
I’ll haunt you! Your retort”
As we carried Grandma to the hearse, I felt a sudden thud! A son-in-law had smacked this sign onto the coffin—the wonderfully wicked last word in a rivalry for the ages. One prank to rule them all. Everyone laughed.
Well Grandma, looks like you've got some haunting to do.
I find Seek's job recommendations invariably bad, but this one is just taking the piss.
