1. I'm Lithuanian and former military, and I've never heard of any civilian casualties caused by anti personell landmine in my country.
2. Our risk tolerance is higher than yours, you not knowing the taste of russian occupation and living further from the border.

I've been told to "'not worry about things you cannot control" over and over
But I cannot make peace with that, and my reply is:
"No, I keep worrying and fighting until I am in a way of control so I can do something about it"
The feeling of "no control" is what they want so they can get away with everything
