So, finished woodworking 103. Our final project was a telephone table. Came out well, and we managed to use one of the Sullivan designed window pulls from the Stock Market Building. #chicago #woodworking #LouisSullivan
The Hokusai exhibit at the Cleve Carney Museum of Art is worth the price of admission.
We lost our beloved this morning. She was the runt of the litter, born with only one lung. She had box issues, she survived surgery that collapsed that lung 6 years ago. Her heart was strong but her lung eventually failed. She just wanted to be safe & loved.
Her spirit was so strong, she was bathing & using the box up until the end. She was so strong, she was such a survivor, and even with that, she loved pets & purring.
I'm shattered.
