Finally!
@dfgomes Yes, because it’s a native feature of the YouTube player.
@dfgomes Auto-translate (automatic AI video dubbing) is also supported but is disabled by default.

@dfgomes That depends on how you use YouTube. Play doesn't offer full 1:1 parity with all the features YouTube provides, but you can watch videos in-app and follow your subscriptions to see new videos they post. However, you cannot like videos, write comments, or view YouTube’s recommendations feed, for example.

Regarding ads, Play does not remove them, as doing so would violate YouTube’s terms of service. If you have YouTube Premium, you can watch without ads as usual.

Play 2.7.2 also adds support for TikTok videos!

Play 2.7.2 is now available, featuring a Safari extension for quickly saving the current page.

Tip: use Control-Option-P for even faster access!

@aeryn Thanks! I’ll include this feature in the next update.
@jkrahn I’m not exactly sure how AirPlay handles stream quality. Doesn’t it just mirror the stream from the phone? If that’s the case, selecting a higher quality on the phone should mean AirPlay sends that higher-quality video as well.
@elflojo I know, right? RSS has been around forever, but this is my first time actually publishing something with it myself!
@jirirbr One of them is Wipr 2 (ad blocker) and the other one is the MusicBox extension for quickly adding the current page (planning to release it this week!)
