La nostra idea és crear un ecosistema enfocat a les comunitats, tant d'artistes com d'oients. És per això que plantegem una arquitectura amb dos elements funcionals diferenciats:

PLAYER: On els oients es registren, creen les seves llistes de reproducció, es subscriuen a comunitats d'artistes o a artistes directament, etc.

CATÀLEGS: Webs d'artistes o de comunitats d'artistes des d'on pengen el seu contingut, editen els seus perfils, etc.

El player, que podria estar en mans d'una cooperativa o comunitat d'oients, no guarda els arxius de música i la reprodueix directaments dels catàlegs dels artistes, creant així un model molt més sostenible i ecològic sense dependre de grans servidors.

Aquest model possibilita moltes formes de relacionar-se econòmicament diferents i des de Fairplayer intentarem facilitar-ho a nivell tècnic perquè cada comunitat pugui adaptar el programa a les seves necessitats.
