@inlovewithpda it is convenient to modify grub settings, but TBH I have never used it to add a new entry, I always install the Linux I will run grub from last and use the installer to configure it. I presume you will just need to copy the entry for Trixie and change the partition path.
@inlovewithpda IMHO the most convenient way is using grub-customizer (https://packages.debian.org/trixie/amd64/grub-customizer) which provides a UI rather than the manual way of editing the entries in /etc/grub.d and running update-grub.
