Putting together a new gaming PC for my wife (later for me too). Our current desktops are 7-8 years old and my wife’s has been shutting down suddenly after years of overheating issues.
I decided to switch to AMD architecture for the first time in 30 years of PC use.

Ok so. The plumber arrived. TL;DR - pump under the furnace was plugged into a GFCI outlet that had popped so it was overflowing. Simple problem simple solution. Now I know I can fix it myself in the future.
