As a kid, springtime was when I switched from making Creepy Crawlers and Creeple People with my Thingmaker to making flowers.
Johnny Yee’s was a tiki style Chinese restaurant in Yarmouth, MA that had an amazing floor show, including fire dancers, hula girls in grass skirts, and fruity drinks with tiny umbrellas that were so yummy that you didn’t even notice your ass being kicked by their insane blends of hard liquor. We found it by accident on a vacation we did back in the ‘80s with zero planning, and it’s a favorite memory.
This record is on its way to me at this very minute and I can hardly wait to play it. 🧉
