A nobody. Just a scientist in love with Physics, Mathematics and CS who values reason and science above all. A #gnu/ and free software fan.

hehe #IRGC just threatened Iranians outside #Iran, that if you say anything against the regime, they will confiscate your properties and you will face punishments.

Also send an SMS with the same content to people.

It gets worse. The created public channels on Telegram (since it is popular in Iran) to find and report people who are active against the regime on social media with the aim to execute them later on. They even joke about ordering the rope online in advance.

#python's type checker is funny. Python is one of those greedy langs, that just wants whatever feature others have at any cost 😂
I was talking to a friend of mine about the frustrations of being a software engineer who tries to make it work among NPCs in life. I genuinely understand his pain, I've been there, and I might end up there again in the future. But something that helped me throughout the years with this problem, was the note I left for myself when I could think clearly.

I'm finalising the memory manager for my compiler runtime, and I was like why the fucking #Microsoft does not support `aligned_alloc` which suppose to be a standard function in C11?

Oh man, I hate this incompetence organisation. Just because their shtitty OS, which btw, is vibe coded about 30% for some mental reason, does not support it, they were like, let's break the standard.

Hey folks, I'll have a talk tomorrow in #karajlug about #nixos As far as I know, it will be both in person and online at the same time. So if you're interested, join us.

NOTE: It will be in FARSI. So no English, just to be clear.

OMG, #Microsoft is just brilliant, they took the fail fast mentality to a whole another level 😂

Imagine, the entire os will crash, if a certificate does not meet their expectation, that's sooo crazy, that I can't believe it. The entire OS, just because a lazy developer didn't know how to handle other case, or they would rather not touch legacy code or whatever.
If it was a free software, it was alright, since it's free (both meanings) and you're not paying for it.

Imagine a purely functional, and typed #lisp, with pattern matching. Which one do you prefer?

Option A or B? If you have other preferences, please share.

#boost please

Description: A lambda form with multiple patterns and bodies.

Option A, explicitly wraps definitions in brackets, while option B, implicitly pairs patterns with their associated body.

My Q2 electricity export made me ~250 euros. I live in #ireland, it's usually cloudy, and I have a moderate #solar setup. I don't pay for electricity (maybe a bit in winter). If I can do it, in Ireland, imagine what people can do in sunny regions.

If you aren't concerned about #greenenergy and #climatechange, at least earn some money.

My daily ritual 😂😂

Ireland is cloudy, and rainy in ~ 85%-90% of the year. My house is entirely running on #solar energy. I have an average solar panel setup, and yet I generate way more energy than I need and export it back to the grid.
Hopefully, more people, will get into green energy.
