#Systemd has many cool and useful features. But it has on massive problem that irritates me to my core.
It does too much. When it works, it's great, but if something bad happens it taints too much of your system. While the age verification saga is optional right now, and seems harmless, it will grow like a cancerous tumour, and eventually, we end up in a situation that we have to decide whether to remove a massive part of our OS or just accept that privacy is a joke these days.

It seems that LLMs are perfect tools for those who want to shoot themselves in the foot. Those who don't want to try to learn stuff themselves.
They are definitely useful, but the way some people uses them makes me think.

It gets worse. The created public channels on Telegram (since it is popular in Iran) to find and report people who are active against the regime on social media with the aim to execute them later on. They even joke about ordering the rope online in advance.
@aral Two months about 40,000 innocent and unarmed Iranians slaughtered on the streets by IRGC. I lost 4 of my friends there. I was stressed over the safety of my family. Yet, you didn't care much about it. But now, that there is a story twisted by media that might support what you want to hear. All of a sudden, you care about people of #Iran?
Give me a break, friend. All lives matter. Palestinians, Iranians, Israelis and all. Innocent people are just victims of brute politicians.
@aral chill my friend, I did not insult you. Second, it's funny how non Iranians think they understand the situation better than Iranians who struggled under IRGC for their entire life.
Just because IRGC supported Palestine (just out of political gain) doesn't mean Iranian people should be slaughtered by IRGC.
Currently, what you are doing is just selectively read the news from sources that support what you want to hear. But the truth is beyond that. 1/2
