@dawcas In my decade long quest for the perfect frenchy fries, I finally bought a deep fryer. They cost some 50€ max, but absolutely worth it if you’ve got a garden, balcony or really powerful kitchen vent.
They’re still not as crunchy as the store bought ones, but taste way better due to the spice mix.

@araucana right you are, always is 😝

Easy, quick and delightful #vegan recipe.

Sweet potatoes were on offer, so I made some sweet deep fried fries. Plus air fried 🥦 and whole fried brown (cremini) shrooms with some onion.

If you make sweet potato fries, be sure to remember adding spice mix after fry- salt, garlic- ,onion- , smoked bell pepper powder. Made rice too, but it didn’t fit. Delashious…

@araucana Oooh großartig- thanks for sharing! 🕺

We could agree that everyone should be fed and housed.

We could admit that being disabled, poor, homeless or unemployed is not a moral failing.

That society would be better off if everyone’s basic needs were met.

Join us on 6 March at 16.00 for a data centre walk to the yet-to-be-built but already highly controversial Microsoft hyperscaler in Amsterdam Sloterdiijk.

Together with guests, we will explore how digital public infrastructures are deployed in public spaces – in this case, a (still) empty piece of land – and how this impacts all of our lives.

Co-organised by @papertrail @yan and the critical infrastructure lab at UvA.
