Well, Bazzite just obliterated one of the last reasons I was still clinging to Windows 11.

My living room PC has an RTX 3090, yet Windows still won’t run anything at 4K 60fps. It caps out at 4K 30fps or 1080p 60fps—no matter what I do. For years, I blamed the TV. Thought maybe I cheaped out. Spent all this money on a high-end rig, and it never delivered what I wanted.

Then I docked my wife’s Legion Go. It dual-boots Windows 11 and Bazzite.

Guess what? Same problem on Windows. But boot into Bazzite? Boom—4K at 60fps, no issue.

Turns out it wasn’t the TV. It was Windows.

Once again, Linux quietly proves it’s the better OS for gaming.

Apple has already fully supported VP8 and VP9 video codecs, Vorbis and Opus audio codecs in WebM since at least 2021, and since March this year, Vorbis in Ogg containers is also supported.
It's time for the Fediverse to ditch the damned MP3, and begin to embrace at least Vorbis as the new norm for better audio quality at a smaller file size. While up to preference due to computational power, VP9 + Vorbis/Opus in WebM should also be supported. Especially for PeerTube, who uses H.264 with a crappy implementation of AAC-LC that has been fucking up my music archives on PeerTube since day 1.
Please, just move on. No one's running Windows ME that can have file support as a valid excuse.
