As this enters a new cycle for the show, I decided to draw a tarot card for today and it gave me The High Priestess.
She represents the unknown, intuition, spiritual knowledge, and the subconscious. The crescent moon symbolizes her connection with the divine feminine.
A perfect fit for my bi-monthly show layering field recordings, avant-garde music and some percussion.

Open Field was one of my highlights of 2024. A collaborative installation with fellow artist Elsemarijn Bruys, it explored listening as art practice through listening prompts by great composers such as Pauline Oliveros and Hildegard Westerkamp.
In 2025 I will continue to stand on the shoulders of of these amazing women and dive deeper into my listening research.
