THE WONDERSWAN HAS A TAMAGOTCHI-LIKE EVANGELION GAME WHERE YOU RAISE ANGELS?!?!?!

WHAT ?!?!?!

Man, what a weird little machine.

Having the sudden urge to start collecting "retro tech". I mean, I always liked those "old" designs and all (who wouldn't love a Sony hi-fi stack?), but I'm getting pretty burned out on everything having an operating system, updates, and whatnot.

Falsehoods programmers believe about languages

This is what we have to put up with in the software localization industry.

Every new thing I learn about Crimosn Desert's localization makes me angrier lol

And, I just found out that Deep Rock Galactic, a game that sold millions of copies, uses community translation instead of paid professionals.

Man, what a way to start the day.

My RSS is finally under control with only 52 articles to read. Most of them are game reviews from people I follow that I haven't been able to keep up with in the last few months.

(My brain was pretty fried from overworking, haha...)

I'm still playing Ys during my free time, and really enjoyed Celceta. Started Felghana but it didn't click (even if it's the same engine as Origin, which I liked). Moved on to Dana and while it's cool, I'm starting to get tired of it. Parts of the plot drag on too much.
Parts of the plot drag on too much and, for some reason the combat isn't clicking with me. It's basically the same system as Celceta, but I felt that the combat there was more fun than in Dana. Still not sure why, tho.
