@trainvids coffee nerd here! Aillio Bullet R1 roaster, Mahlkönig PEAK grinder, La Marzocco GS3 MP. Trying to learn better roast profiling
@sean_ae @chorist @trainvids @quails @eko_ @elifyalvac @Kama11 The Leeds set is sick, better add that one to the top picks!
@Kama11 thx for the Philadelphia recommendation, that is a pretty crisp recording too, found it in 1.44GB WAV
@Kama11 its crazy good.. this excerpt is from the Leeds set, which i think has the best recording (strong 2nd is the Portsmouth set)
@sean_ae @trainvids @quails @eko_ @elifyalvac @chorist @Kama11 Sean I caught the live show last November and the section around the 75 minute mark, embedded here, has been with me ever since. I have been listening to your work since the late 90s and I still cannot quite explain how you keep finding new ground, but you do, every time, and that night was proof of it. Thank you for everything you have put into this over the years and for still making live shows feel like a genuine event. Really hoping a hi-res recording of this set sees a release at some point because it deserves to be heard properly. Cheers and keep doing what you are doing.
@Kama11 awesome. perfection is the enemy of progress :) thanks for the thoughtful response 🙏
@Kama11 When you’re working with things in max/msp, do you feel constrained by the need for technical accuracy in the algorithms, or does artistic expression take priority with the algorithms used more loosely as a framework?
@sean_ae @eko_ @chorist did you bring any concepts/tricks/insights from Elektron to max/msp? e.g. p-locks, slide-trigs etc
@sean_ae thank you for sharing. Keep up the great work!
@Kama11 hey. Do you post longer screen captures of your max/msp patches? Would be cool to see those. Keep up the great work
