The #UnitedStates ambassador to #SouthAfrica Reuben Brigety, has allegedly apologized for accusing Pretoria of selling #weapons to #russia However, Brigety's tweet after a meeting with Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor does not suggest an apology for his claim that a Russian ship was loaded with weapons at a South African naval base. The South African government is currently investigating the matter and has not yet denied the allegation.
