this weekend my pet demon and i went to get her a motorcycle. she wants a chopper so we got a nice hinda shadow 600.
i spent the weekend riding it around and it is the silliest machine i have ever driven. a cross between a recliner, a foot massager, and a tractor.
and now i appreciate my zippy little yamaha that much more!
every couple years for the last decade i've tried to get into the talking heads but always bounced off; nothing in their discography really hooked me the way i wanted it to
until last weekend, when i went to a cafe that had one of their songs in the playlist! it's stuck around and i find myself looking them up to hear more every couple days. it was a real once in a lifetime experience
i wore this to pride with a flogger over my shoulder to do my part to make pride unpalatable to marketers. now i think i am in everyone's pride photos
