Really like the fact google now publish the IP addresses googlebot uses.
The list is a bunch of ranges in CIDR notification format, rather than a list of the actual IP addresses. Really I'd argue the list isn't for human consumption, rather targeted at tools and firewall providers, but I threw together this tool for the fun of it so you can test an individual IP4 or IP6 address against the list.
I'm preparing another set of the Ask-Googlebot videos, where I answer questions that folks have about SEO & Search. I have a bunch of topics, but I'd love to also hear from you!

Rumor has it I've been already laid off. Rumor is false: we, the search relations team, still don't know what's gonna happen, when, or to whom, so we're working normally, focusing on projects that we think we can deliver fast and will help the most externally.
