Good news, I got the apartment and I have six interviews this week.
What is your favorite conference swag?
I am volunteering with the Crime Victim Law Conference again this year and am looking at options. Currently on my list are data blockers, pens (boring), and water bottles.
I cannot believe that in 2026, companies are shipping liquid products loose in cardboard boxes. Really frustrating to have to clean this all up.
In an effort to save money, I tried making my own trail mix inspired by Target's Monster Trail Mix.
It did not save me any money but at least it tastes good 🤷♀️
Recommended proper posture when sitting is to keep feet flat on the floor. As I've been more intentional in trying to improve my posture I have realized most furniture is not built for short people.
I am struggling to find work and housing. It's very demoralizing and I find myself sinking into my seasonal depression more.
I was talking to my parents on the phone today and my dad asked what fun things I am doing. I snapped at him and said nothing because my time is completely taken up with school, job hunting, and looking for housing.
But that's not really true. I have been crocheting and I finally pulled out my sewing machine last weekend. I just wish I had more time to crochet and sew.
