Google has news on what you will need to do for still being able to sideload apps:
* enable developer options
* confirm that you are not tricked
* restart phone and re-authenticate
* wait one day
* confirm with biometrics that you know what you are doing
* decide if you only want unrestricted installs for 1 week or forever
* confirm that you accept the risks
* enjoy the few apps that still have developers motivated to develop for a user-base willing to put up with this
I feel so lucky to live in Europe. Fresh and natural food is widely available, you can easily travel everywhere without making the climate worse, you have quality and affordable health care and education, laws that protect your privacy, a lot of cultural diversity, and most people I know are nice to each other.

@superblox Het valt me op dat backend developers denken dat vooral/enkel front-end impacted zal zijn. Designers denken net hezelfde.
Ik vermoed dat frontend developers ondertussen denken: blij dat ik dingen kan maken zonder een design of backend developer nodig te hebben.
M.a.w.: iedereen lijkt te denken dat AI vooral goed is om taken te doen die ze zelf niet kunnen/willen doen.

Het is hier vooral frappant dat iemand waarmee je al maanden samenwerkt, waarmee je vele iteraties doorlopen hebt en die amper zelf kan verwoorden wat hij wil, blijft verwonderd kijken naar de blinkende buitenkant van iets dat door AI gecopieerd is. Ik vermoed dat hij me wat wilde testen/jennen...
Er gaat nog veel projecten falikant aflopen omdat men onderschat hoeveel onzichtbare code/infrastructuur er achter een app/platform zit.
