Have you seen this stunningly detailed, deep, interactive, searchable data visualization on global greenhouse gas emissions created by Climate TRACE?! You can even download the data for your own project. https://climatetrace.org/explore
Explore Map - Climate TRACE

Climate TRACE makes climate action faster and easier by mobilizing the global tech community to track greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Hey! join me Dec 14th from 6-10 pm @ the Exploratorium in SF for an evening of art + climate science from the 5th National Climate Assessment. I’m on a panel with artist Xavier Cortada & climate scientist Kris May, discussing how bringing art & science together can highlight the impact of climate change on coastal environments. There will be poetry readings, a wildfire art panel, + food & drinks. More info at: https://www.exploratorium.edu/visit/calendar/after-dark-art-x-climate-exploratorium
I love working at the intersection of art & science: The Living Shoreline Project is in Art x Climate, the 1st ever art gallery featured in the Fifth National Climate Assessment (NCA5). The NCA is the leading source of US climate information. Led by US Global Change Research Program (USGCRP) and written by over 500 experts, NCA5 covers climate change impacts on the US and includes the latest science on adaptation and mitigation. My artwork is featured on the cover of the Adaptation section.
For the first time in 3-½ years, I’ll be opening my studio this weekend, May 13 & 14, 11 am – 5 pm. I’ll be showing my latest projects and will have small artworks, metal prints, tea towels, cards, and matted prints for sale. Come find me in studio #15 at The Alameda Artworks at 1068 The Alameda in San Jose (behind the Recycle Bookstore). #art #openstudios

This is my video application, https://vimeo.com/821891383, for the #BigBasinArtAbout. 10 artists will be chosen to participate in the 1st backpacking trip in Big Basin since the CZU Lightning Complex Fire. What an incredible opportunity to make art inspired and informed by spending 2 days exploring the park with expert naturalists in the company of other artists. Wish me luck!
