Got handed the clipboard from receptionist to fill in papers.
Turned around to see the nurse saying my name and offering her hand.
She did not want to shake my hand.
She wanted the clipboard.
I had already put my hand out.
A soft "oh no" as I realise.

Been doing a Twin Peaks rewatch. Two things, unrelated to the show.
1) After watching a lot of winter Olympics and TV, it's so refreshing not to have adverts forged into your brain.
2) the blu-ray disc was skipping, so had to take it out, blow on it, and wipe it on my shirt. A throwback action. This is what they took from us.
