Talentless writer. Ambiguous sock policy holder. Mostly harmless.

Got handed the clipboard from receptionist to fill in papers.

Turned around to see the nurse saying my name and offering her hand.

She did not want to shake my hand.

She wanted the clipboard.

I had already put my hand out.

A soft "oh no" as I realise.

I'm in the doctor's office today. Can't wait to be asked about stress and anxiety.

Like, doc, do you *see* the news every day?

The boomers truly are the worst generation to have ever existed. They got everything good and helpful, and have fucked it all up for their grandchildren and beyond. Absolutely selfish cunts. Fuck them.
Hmm, not entirely sure that they are all headed my way, bandsintown
Between the football and the fire, today has been one the worst days for Glasgow.
How does one go about blocking someone following you on #pixelfed ? Some ai slop music ""producer"" has followed me and they can get in the bin

Been doing a Twin Peaks rewatch. Two things, unrelated to the show.

1) After watching a lot of winter Olympics and TV, it's so refreshing not to have adverts forged into your brain.

2) the blu-ray disc was skipping, so had to take it out, blow on it, and wipe it on my shirt. A throwback action. This is what they took from us.

For TAKE ONE, I reviewed EVERYBODY TO KENMURE STREET, the opening film of this year's Glasgow Film Festival. It's a stirring documentary focused on the individuals who chose to defend their neighbours that day and the Scottish context of the protest. People Make Glasgow. https://takeonecinema.net/2026/everybody-to-kenmure-street/
Everybody to Kenmure Street | TAKE ONE Magazine | Glasgow Film Festival 2026

Felipe Bustos Sierra’s latest documentary is a fitting one to open Glasgow Film Festival 2026 as a thoughtful exploration of Glasgow’s political history and how a community can come together to make a political difference.

Never thought I'd say this, but it's a shame that lizzie isn't around to see her nonce son #andrew getting lifted by the polis.
