Drupal, woodworking, podcasting, community building, photowalking, coworking, beer, hugs, gardening, eating local. I love mentoring. Opinions are my own. Currently Developer at ICF, Co-host at DrupalEasy Podcast, maintainer of Funding module, Mentor at Discover Drupal with Drupal Association, Co-Organizer Portland Drupal User Group, one-time co-host on Talking Drupal, probably some other stuff.

I am hosting this year's @[email protected] along with many talented other community members. We're excited about this year for so many reasons: It's a great time to be a Drupal community member, it's a great location to visit, and we are going to have fantastic experiences together this year.

Here is a video I made with my good friend and collaborator Rebekah Lane doing the 🀩 voiceover.

LinkedIn told me I'm using their site too much and I need to sign up for Premium or they're going to throttle my searches. πŸ€“

A social network that is usage based... πŸ€” that wouldn't be so bad. Would it?

"You can't leave a flaming reply to this tweet unless you pay us $8"...

Bye, Atlanta! @drupalcon
It's something I'd like to see shipped with contrib modules, like config sets for high performance, or for security, or for social media presence, or to turn on a certain authentication scheme, etc.
Also the instructions said composer would include my dependencies, but I had to include those manually as well, it didn't just work. Not sure if that is because I was getting my recipe off my private github repo, or some other composery reason, but I was sad that it was less than ideal.
Trying to use Drush to apply the recipe, it was trying to tell me it didn't know how to install the modules I was trying to install. I installed all the modules manually, then uninstalled, and then tried to apply my recipe, and then it worked.
There is no recipe generator yet. Especially for config actions, it's kind of trial and error.
Anybody used recipes with 10.3? I have built one, and got it to work after a fashion. There are some pain points: (thread)
I prepared this gentle introduction to ECA, presented about it at #PNWDrupalSummit this week. This is the first time I am doing the full hour, could use some polish https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgT-wDWbbGk
