De markt gaat de productieketen van een product niet nalopen om te kijken of alles wel netjes geteeld is, of arbeiders wel netjes behandeld worden, of het product niet krankzinnige reizen in containerboten aflegt, de markt maakt zich niet druk om uitstoot en hoeveelheid verpakkingsmaterialen en afval, de markt is uiteindelijk het bedrijf dat maar één doel heeft: winstmaximalisatie.
En dat betekent dat politiek die zaken aan die markt overlaat, haar werk gewoon niet doet.
